COMMEMORATION OF INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY

In celebration of International Women’s Day, the Centre for Family Health Initiative (CFHI) visited Junior Secondary School, Jiwa, Abuja, engaging over 50 students in an impactful sensitization session.

The outreach focused on human rights, gender equity, and youth empowerment. Students were encouraged to speak out against violence, report any form of abuse, and express themselves with confidence. Through engaging discussions, they gained a deeper understanding of their rights and the power of using their voices to advocate for themselves and others.

Teachers also participated in conversations around creating safe, inclusive, and supportive school environments, reinforcing the collective role of educators in promoting equality and protection for all students.
