The Action to sustain precision and integrated HIV response towards epidemic control (ASPIRE) project that we implement is funded by the US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) through the US Centers for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC). CFHI in collaboration with IHVN is implementing this project in the Federal Capital Territory.

Diabetes Awareness and Care Project (DAC) - PHASE 2

Diabetes Awareness and Care Project (DAC) in Nigeria is aimed at improving Diabetes health outcomes among the populations in selected communities of Imo state. The project objectivies are to raise awareness of type 2 Diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and hypertension, its risk factors and prevention in targeted communities in Imo state. Also to strengthen evidence-based programming and policymaking through the utilization of advocacy to multiple stakeholders, performance management, education at the community level, sensitization of health workers, guideline development and trainings to improve access to diabetes prevention and care services in Imo state

Advancing Community Empowerment for Women and Youth (ACE)

ACE project aims to empower women and youth, enhance community businesses, promote financial literacy and savings, and ultimately contribute to the economic development and sustainability of Takushara community.

TB HIV Reach, Integrated and Impact (N-THRIP) GC 7 Project

The TB/HIV grant circl (GC7) project is focused on ensuring early diagnosis of TB/HIV and providing comprehensice care for affected individuals. This project will increse the provision of Tuberculosis services in the communities and expand HIV testing for all pregnant women in the communities through community outreaches, house to house search and contact tracing of all positive TB case and as well ensuring 100% enrollment of HIV/AIDS pregnant women in the communities.

The project aims to study the Impact of a Mobile Gaming (BabyThrive) App on Infant and Young Child Feeding Practices of Teenage Mothers’, and Nutritional Status of their Children (0-2 years) in Nigeria. ​

Polio Lab Sample Transport
Polio Lab Sample Transport (PLST)

The project aims to have a well-coordinated, responsive polio SRS with timely delivery of quality samples to the National Polio Reference Lab (NPRL), and with timely feedback of results to all levels. VillagReach with CFHI, the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA), and partners, will work to implement customized solutions to improve the timeliness of sample transportation and improve data visibility and sample tracking in Nigeria.

Human papillomavirus vaccines PROGRAM

The HPV Introduction Project aims to equip CSOs with HPV vaccine knowledge and mobilization strategies, increase community knowledge on HPV vaccine, and increase HPV vaccination coverage in Nigeria. The project is implemented in collaboration with the National Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Johns Hopkins International Vaccine Access Center, Direct Consulting and Logistics (DCL) and Women Advocate for Vaccine Access (WAVA).
